  1. Great advice John, thank for the reminders. I agree, Jim Dufek is a terrific person and has done a fantastic job creating GatorTec in Tioga. I would like to suggest the added advantage of a personality profile system when hiring. Sometimes people can be excellent at interviewing and lousy at working. A validated, scientifically based talent management system like the Predictive Index done prior to the interview can identify strengths of candidates. Then your interview questions can be laser focused on areas you most want to know about like attitude and aptitude! Thanks for sharing your wisdom with us.

    I have read a lot of tips about hiring and I think this video pretty much sums it all up. The important things to focus on when hiring. 🙂
    I especially agree with tip number 1. If I could share a quote from also one the most successful CEOs in the world, “The person is a resume, not what’s on a piece of paper.
